“The Most Powerful Red Greek Variety Comes Under The Microscope And Reveals Its Secrets!”
Wine Style presented a unique Masterclass entitled “Exploring Xinomavro” in February at the Royal Olympic Hotel Athanasiou Diakou 28, (Panorama Hall) in Athens.
Once again, the hall was filled with crowds of wine drinkers and wine enthusiasts who were thirsty for an in-depth knowledge of the notorious North Hellenic variety.
During the event there was a unique blind tasting of 35 different Xinomavro from all over Greece that aims to focus on the formality, the impact of winemaking along with other varieties, areas and sub-regions as well as its new trends of xinomavro and its evolution over time.
