This recognition is a reward for the collective effort we have been making over the past year to showcase Greek bottled wine as an ambassador and integral part of Greek gastronomy to our visitors from all over the world.
In the heart of Athens’ historic center, in the picturesque Psyrri neighborhood, 12 wineries from across the country are introduced through the wines offered by the glass, while historical and geographical information about each region is also provided.
Accompanied by cheeses and cold cuts exclusively from PDO products, the taste experience is elevated. Each visitor takes with them the taste of Greece to carry back to their own country! The award was received by Cinque’s wine consultant, oenologist Mr. Nikitas Prassas.
