What is Cinque Team Wine Quest?
Cinque Team Wine Quest is a hosted corporate wine experience that combines a real Greek wine tasting with team challenges and scoring. Physical cards support the activity at the table; the digital game manages the participating teams, round answers and leaderboard.
The published base format brings together three Greek wines, three Greek cheeses and approximately 60 minutes of hosted play. The final wines, pairings, timing and any additional rounds are agreed in the event proposal.
Before the first round: bring the group together
The experience begins with an introduction to the format. Guests need to understand their team, how an answer is submitted and when a round closes. Giving everyone the same starting point makes it easier for people with different levels of wine knowledge to join.
Wine knowledge is welcome, but the discussion matters too. One colleague may notice an aroma; another may ask a useful question or explain why the team should reconsider its answer.
Taste, discuss and choose
During the hosted tasting, teams explore the wines and the challenges selected for their event. There is time to compare observations, discuss the question and settle on a shared answer before it locks.
The host connects the activity with the wines being served. The event brief determines the content of the rounds: the experience can expand with more wines, extra rounds or agreed company questions. A tailored question is part of the preparation, rather than an assumption about every session.
The reveal is part of the experience
After an answer closes, the reveal gives the group an opportunity to understand the result. Guests can connect the explanation with what they tasted and hear how other people approached the question.
The live leaderboard adds a sense of progress between rounds. A final winner screen closes the game, while the wines and conversations give the group something to remember beyond the score.
Physical cards and digital play: different jobs
The physical cards are objects used at the table. The digital Wine Quest is the interactive layer for teams, answers and scoring. Both sit within a real tasting hosted by the Cinque team.
They are also distinct from the Cinque Wine & Play Pack, which brings wine, snacks and physical games together for friends. Choosing a pack does not automatically mean booking a hosted corporate Wine Quest event.
At Cinque or at your event
A team can come to Cinque, or discuss a format at an office, hotel or suitable event venue. The available time, group size and layout help determine how teams participate and how the host moves through the experience.
For a company gathering, tell us the date, location, number of guests, preferred language and dietary requirements. If branding, custom questions or prizes are part of the brief, include them at the start so they can be reflected in the proposal.
