After months of focused, persistent teamwork, Cinque Wine & Deli opens its doors at Agatharchou 15, in the heart of Psyrri, inviting guests to explore a new approach to wine, taste and hospitality in Athens.

From the very beginning, Cinque is not positioned as just another wine bar.
It introduces a concept built around experience, connection and authenticity, where wine and food coexist naturally and hospitality feels personal and sincere.

A Small Space with a Clear Identity

The interior design transforms a compact space into a fully functional wine & deli bar, with aesthetics present in every detail.

Designed by Amalia Pontika, the space reflects a thoughtful balance between functionality and character.
From the color palette and inventive constructions to the small welcoming sign inviting guests to always eat and drink the best, every element expresses the core values of Cinque: simplicity, warmth and respect for quality.

The design does not seek to impress — it seeks to host.

The First Cinque Wine Family

At opening, Grigoris Prassas and 12 selected Greek wineries form the first Cinque wine family, presenting 25 carefully chosen wine labels that highlight the diversity of Greek vineyards.

A rich food menu complements the wine list, designed to pair harmoniously with each glass and support the overall tasting experience as an integral part of the concept.

Wine and food are treated as equals — meant to be shared, explored and enjoyed together.

The People Behind the Beginning

The team is completed by Nikos Vasilakis, who guides the first communication steps of Cinque Wine & Deli, shaping its voice and presence from the very start.

Together, this small but dedicated group sets the foundations of a concept that prioritizes people, knowledge and genuine hospitality.

From early afternoon, the doors of Cinque Wine & Deli are open, welcoming locals and travelers alike — to accompany them in moments when a glass of wine is exactly what is needed.

What begins on 29 September 2015 in Psyrri is not simply an opening.
