Cinque Wine & Play Pack: wherever friends gather
Greek wine, snacks to share and games for time together. Born from an idea for a cruise, the Cinque Wine & Play Pack belongs on a sailing trip, a weekend away or a relaxed evening at home.
4 October 2026 · Cinque — The Greek Wine Journey
It started with a cruise
It began with a simple question: what could a group of friends take along to enjoy their hours on board?
We brought together Greek wines, something to nibble on and games. White, rosé and red; accompaniments for the table; backgammon, chess, playing cards and our own cards for discovering wine through play.
That was our first Cruise Pack. But as we put it together, we started picturing it in other places, too.
The same idea, more places to enjoy it
On the table of a sailing boat, as friends gather after a swim. On the terrace of a holiday home, during an unhurried weekend. In a villa shared with friends. Or in the living room, when someone suggests opening a bottle and playing a game.
That is the idea behind the name Cinque Wine & Play Pack. The cruise was the starting point; spending time together is what connects all these occasions.
What brings the pack together
The pack combines three parts of a shared evening:
- Greek wine: white, rosé and red wines to discover together.
- Snacks to share: savoury bites, olives and pickles to put in the middle of the table.
- Games: backgammon, chess, playing cards and Cinque’s wine cards, including the Greek varieties deck and the A–B–C quiz game with chips.
The wine games use physical cards. Open the pack, choose a game and let the conversation begin.
Choose a wine. Open a game.
You might start with a round of backgammon, then move on to cards. Or test what you know with Cinque’s wine games: make a guess, compare answers and discover something you will remember the next time you choose a bottle.
There is room for familiar favourites and new discoveries. The pleasure is in finding something the whole group wants to join.
From a day at sea to a night at home
The Wine & Play Pack is an idea for sailing trips and sea excursions, weekends at a holiday home or villa, and game nights at home. It can also be a gift for the friends who are hosting the next gathering.
We designed it with a journey at sea in mind. It found its place wherever there is a table and time for friends.
Greek wine. Games. Time together.
