Proud to Represent Greek Wine in the Historic Center of Athens
Cinque Wine & Deli was featured in an early edition of Greece Is, the prestigious English-language publication by Kathimerini.
That edition was distributed at the Acropolis Museum and major museums across Athens, presenting contemporary Greece through culture, gastronomy and wine. Being included in that edition is a great honor for our team and a strong recognition of our dedication to Greek wine.
Celebrating Greek Wine in Psyrri
Located at 15 Agatharchou Street in the historic Psyrri neighborhood, Cinque then offered 30 carefully selected labels representing almost every wine-producing region in Greece.
Guests could choose among five different wine flights for a comparative tasting session, each accompanied by small tastes of Greek cuisine. Our goal is simple: to introduce visitors and locals to the diversity, character and authenticity of the Greek vineyard.
The prices recorded in the 2016 feature ranged from €3–5.40 per glass and €12–26 per bottle, reflecting the offer at that time. These are historical prices, not the current menu.
A Small Wine Bar with a Big Mission
Cinque loves Greek wine, and we are very proud to be included in this important publication.
That edition of Greece Is highlights destinations that shape the modern identity of Greece. Being part of this list confirms our commitment to showcasing indigenous grape varieties, small producers and distinctive Greek labels in an intimate and welcoming setting.
