This June, Cinque invites you to experience wine with a true sense of place.
Our new monthly series, Tasting Journey, begins with its first destination: the volcanic island of Limnos.
An island shaped by ancient vineyards, sea breeze and a long-standing wine tradition.
A place where wine tells a story of land, people and time.
Throughout the month, a curated selection of four certified organic wines from Limnos Organic Wines will be available by the glass at all Cinque Wine & Deli locations, offering guests the opportunity to explore the island gradually, glass by glass.
The Wines of Limnos — A Curated Monthly Flight
Natural Muscat PDO Limnos, white and dry.
Paired with cherry tomatoes, feta and barley rusks.
Organic Assyrtiko, white and dry.
Paired with pastrami, manouri cheese and cheese rusks.
Organic Limnos Red, dry.
Paired with truffle salami, kefalograviera and Kalamata olives.
Moscato Rosato, rosé, semi-sparkling and semi-sweet.
Paired with goat cheese, fresh strawberries and sesame pasteli.
Each pairing is designed to highlight the character of the wine while staying rooted in simple, authentic Greek flavours.
Street-Style Tasting Event — June 25
The highlight of the month will be a relaxed, street-style tasting evening at Cinque Acropolis, welcoming special guest winemaker Pantelis Tsivolas.
Guests create their own tasting journey using wine tokens, choosing freely between wine glasses and food pairings, without a fixed route or formal structure.
Four tasting tokens are available for €25.
Each token corresponds to one glass of wine or one food pairing.
Additional tokens are available for €7.
The experience is informal, social and designed to encourage exploration, conversation and discovery.
Wine Stories & Interactive Moments
During the evening, guests will be invited to two short wine talks by Pantelis Tsivolas, offering insight into what organic wine truly means today and the story behind the wines of Limnos.
A Wine Passport Card will be available throughout the event.
Guests who taste all four wines will be entered into a draw to win one premium bottle.
An Instagram contest will also be running during the event.
Guests posting with the hashtag #TasteLimnos will enter a draw to win two tokens for the next Tasting Journey stop.
Event-Only Bottle Offers
A pop-up bottle shop will be available during the event, allowing guests to purchase wines for takeaway or order.
Special offers will apply exclusively on the night.
Buying two or more bottles unlocks a ten percent discount.
Purchasing the complete set of all four wines includes an additional premium bottle as a gift.
TasteLimnos Photo Spot
A dedicated photo corner will be set up at Cinque Acropolis.
Guests are invited to capture the moment, share their photo using #TasteLimnos, and take part in a surprise giveaway.
This Is Just the Beginning
Tasting Journey — Stop 01: Limnos marks the first chapter of a new monthly series designed to bring Greece’s terroirs, winemakers and stories closer to the glass.
Each stop will explore a different region, a different voice and a different expression of Greek wine.
