ESTIA Awards 2018: Three Distinctions for Cinque
Silver for Total Experience and Service Team, Bronze for Smart Wine Selection.

Cinque Wine & Deli received three distinctions in the 2018 edition of the ESTIA Awards: Silver for Total Experience, Silver for Service Team and Bronze for Smart Wine Selection.
The ceremony took place at Gazarte in Athens on 21 November 2017. The edition is named ESTIA Awards 2018; its ceremony belongs to the preceding calendar year.
Total Experience
For the Cinque team, a complete wine-bar experience brings several things together: a comfortable welcome, a wine presented with context and food that encourages guests to explore the glass in front of them.
The Silver distinction became a memorable moment in that work. It gave us another reason to value the small details that shape a visit from arrival to the final conversation.
Service Team
The second Silver award recognised the Service Team. Hospitality takes shape through people: how they listen, explain and respond to the guest in front of them.
At Cinque, sharing wine knowledge means making room for questions. Guests should feel equally welcome whether they arrive with a favourite Greek producer or are tasting a Greek variety for the first time.
Smart Wine Selection
The Bronze distinction for Smart Wine Selection completed this set of awards. Our approach to a wine list is guided by curiosity about Greek varieties, producers and places, and by the pleasure of helping guests find something that speaks to them.
Different wines can offer different ways into that journey. A familiar style may provide a starting point; an unfamiliar variety may become the discovery someone remembers.
