Wine Ladies Tasting Online

Assyrtiko — From North to South

This gathering took place during the lockdown period.
But what it represents goes far beyond a specific moment in time.

In a period when physical presence was impossible, Cinque chose not to pause.
Instead, it adapted — and transformed distance into experience.

When the Network Became the Table

Nineteen women came together online for the first Wine Ladies virtual tasting, connecting Athens, Thessaloniki and Brussels in one shared moment.

The theme was Assyrtiko, explored from north to south.
One grape variety, different terroirs, multiple voices — brought together through a single, coordinated experience.

The wines were offered by Wine Art Estate – Kτήμα Τέχνη Οίνου, Zacharias Winery and Santo Wines Winery, each contributing a distinct expression of Assyrtiko and its origin.

What made this possible was not improvisation.
It was coordination.

A Network Designed to Adapt

Cinque Wine Bar undertook the full preparation, packaging and delivery of the tasting kits.

Wines were carefully portioned into small formats, packed with attention to quality and safety, and delivered to participants in different cities and countries — all arriving ready to be chilled, opened and shared at the same moment.

This level of alignment reflected something deeper about the Cinque network.
A structure capable of adapting quickly, operating consistently and delivering experience beyond the physical space of the bar.

Guided Experience, Shared Rhythm

On Sunday, March 28th, at 7 pm, screens turned on and glasses were filled.

Notes were taken. Small bites were enjoyed. Conversations flowed naturally.

The tasting was guided by Nikitas Prassas, whose role was not to lecture, but to create rhythm and focus — ensuring that the experience remained coherent, engaging and human.

Two hours of wine knowledge, enjoyment, humour and connection followed.
Even across hundreds of kilometres, the table felt shared.

What This Moment Revealed

This online tasting was not just a response to extraordinary circumstances.
It was a demonstration of capability.

It showed how the Cinque network can design experiences that travel.
How wine can be handled, presented and communicated consistently.
How people can be brought together through structure, knowledge and intention.

For guests, it was a moment of connection.
For Cinque, it became proof of what the network is able to do when conditions demand flexibility and leadership.

A Reference Point for the Future

While this event belongs to a specific period, its significance remains current.

It reflects a network that does not depend solely on physical presence.
A brand that understands experience as something that can evolve.
And a model that remains strong under pressure.

These are the foundations that continue to support Cinque’s growth today — and the qualities that define a resilient, forward-thinking franchise network.

To Be Continued

As the evening closed, one thing was clear.
This was not the end.

Assyrtiko, part two, was already being discussed — this time with barrel-aged expressions waiting to be explored.

Because when wine is given the right structure and care, the experience does not stop.
It simply finds new ways to continue.
